Post by: tillyfloss on September 22, 2007, 18:10:52 PM
Does it take a long time for emails to reach Uzumlu?

It should take seconds as it does to anywhere in the world. BUT the other person might not pick it up for a while.

Yes, because its uphill the message can struggle to get to a good speed and if a goat stands on the cable it can cause further delays.:D:D

Sorry couldnt resist :)

Ok, ok I know it was a daft question :-\ BUT I am really getting fed up about the fact that the builder that we're buying the house off never bloomin' replies and we end up having to phone   AAAAARGGGGHHHHH.

Back to the email question.
They do take a little longer to reach Uzumlu, due to the fact that there is no direct route, and they have to go via Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya, where they have to wait in a queue until there is space on the email train.

Crabbit.  :D
