Heard a rumour yesterday from one of the locals (turkish) that the dolmus will be starting after Bayram.
Let's wait and see.....
-
I have just picked myself off the floor! As the saying goes seeing is believing- keep us posted on wether or not you see a lesser spotted dolmus. 8)
-
There are a couple of dolmus' driving around at the moment - looks like they're checking out the roads or planning a route?
.....or am i just being a little tooooo optimistic ?!!!
-
Probably the school dolmus?
-
we saw a couple in august.not school so maybe seeing how busy it is?
-
Definitely not school dolmus - i know all the school dolmus' that come and these are different. If we see them while we're out walking, we'll try and talk to the driver to find out.

good stuff!!!!

I must say I kept fit walking up and down that hill. Although there were times a Dolmus would have been nice especially with 4 bags of heavy shopping. I used to get a taxi and even the taxi drivers were turning down fares to go up there. Probably because it was a bit hard on the old car suspension. Bit hard on my suspension I dont know about cars LOL

Please excuse my ignorance, where is Deliktas [?][?]. The bit about the steep hill prompted me to ask. 8)

with migros behind you go over the cross roads, the road bends to the left eventually (past a cemetry) and then as you come to the prison on the left the land on the right is deliktas going right up the valley.
Some people call it Tasyaka, but my understanding is that tasyaka is further up the road towards hisoranu.
Has great potential to be a lovely community.
-
Tasyaka is quite a large area and does cover up beyond the university, but also covers down to the new Otogar and out towards Patlangic. Deliktas is part of Tasyaka. :)
-
Thanks for that Gorgeous Bird and Tribalelder. I think I know where we are now.
Cheers
Ken :D

have to agree with the Chewy tactic of talkin/ walkin re' the dolmus and did get a lift (only to Migros, but its a start). The driver called himself Amhet (!!?? no really) and suggested that the dolmus route would be GV bound by early next year ~ for the dolmus GV timetable please contact Amhet via the operator, just by dialling 0.
