A belated hello to everyone.
We have been coming to Turkey for over 20 years and have a house in Gokova.
Whilst many things have changed - no fighters in the dispersal shelters at Dalaman airport and metalled roads eg the essential warmth and welcome of the Turkish people has not changed.:D

Hello
Welcome to CBF
-
Hi Chinook
Welcome to the forum.
Lets hope the Turkish warmth never changes.
-
Welcome - no sooner do you mention the Turkish warmth and I see it's gonna be cold tonight -lol.
Where is Gokova?
-
Hi Chinook
Welcome to the Forum. Don't go telling Stoop where Gokova is before you decide whether or not you want him turning up there. Best kept a secret for the moment. Although MikeA and I know exactly where it is - or rather where both places that it might be are (i.e. on the coast or a couple of miles inland).

Hi Chinook
I do believe we know each other,
Howling wolf on the balcony?
Colwyn is right about Gokova, best kept to ourselves for now ;) ;)

Hi Toneysue
It refers to a particular blues singer who is appreciated by both Mike A and myself amongst many.

Hi Chinook, Welcome to the Fantastic CBF. Hope you enjoy it.
Scunner really, can we not do anything about these new members ??!! Howling wolves on balconies, midnight seagulls, Wang dang doodles etc....what is the forum coming to ? ;):D
-
We could ban all new members from joining, that's an option that is available.
Wouldn't help really as the loonies are already in.
-
Trouble is you can't tell we are loonies until we open our mouths. ;):D
Gokova is a small village on the bay of Gokova mid way between Marmaris and Mugla
Where the road leaves the coast and hairpins up into the mountains. :)
