Can anyone supply directions to Eren Spot please?
-
Going into Fethiye, it's past Tuesday market place & on the other side of the road ie on the left, around halfway to the footbridge
-
catch the dolmus all the way into fethiye,go down the hill to the traffic lights on the main road turn to your right and cross the road to the chemist, keep walking on this side till you come to erin spot, takes about 5 mins from dolmus stop.
but if you know fethiye its easier getting off at the tuesday market

hi

Just to add to the Eren Spot compliments, l recently dealt with Bekir, he was absolutely brilliant and sorted out my requirements the very next day. This man must be the only guy in Fethiye who truly understands the meaning of "Customer Satisfaction" and thinks long term other than making a quick extra few liras, WELL DONE BEKIR
-
I agree that bekir does provide wonderful customer service. We recently bought a corner suite there and had a wardrobe, bedside cabinet and headboard custom made in wood to match our other furniture.
Bekir also has books with furniture in and is prepared to order items e.g. suites etc. so that you can see them before you decide to buy i.e. no commitment.
-
Bekir is undoubtably great, but so are a lot of other people we have dealt with in Fethiye Doodlebug. He definitely isn't the only one.
-
grant t share with us on here who can you recommend to the other posters
-
Sure Puma. Istikbal opposite Eren Spot are good for some more up market bits of furniture. Staff are really helpful and willing to bargain. Gunnes were the same for all our light fittings and came and fitted them all within a couple of hours. Same with the shop where we got our air-con. Searching on the forum will bring up loads of recommendations. In general we have many good experiences when shopping to furnish our apartment. The post I was reponding too made it sound like that wasn't how things were and that Bekir was a one off.

Hi Guys
I know that this is probably a silly question but does Eren Spot take Visa or is it just cash? Don't fancy taking a lot of cash.
-
They take visa, no problem
-
That is great news. Means I can spend more without hubby noticing!!
-
we paid with the card in the machine and hey presto
-
It's maestro Pumes not presto
-
Most shops take visa, but a few would rather have cash something to do with the tax, we furnished our apartment in 2005 from erin spot and everything is still working great, went back in april to furnish our villa, he is a realy nice bloke
-
i was looking for a small ice machine and went into the bosch shop in fethiye they wanted 400ytl
went to bekir and asked him could he get me one
he said i will make a phone call 2 days it was there, cost 250ytl
what a man nothing is too much trouble and the machine was 150ytl cheaper

I couldn't find Eren Spot last week, despite taking directions with me that were posted on the forum! We followed the directions past the chemist and carried on down that street, but we were obviously in the wrong place. Asked a passing person if they knew, but after peering at the name for a few moments, they shook their head! Oh well, maybe next time ..................... ! We managed to get most of what we wanted in Gunlukbasi anyway, but were trying to price up a decent-sized portable DVD player for the kids. Will bring one with us on our next visit!
-
You won't find a decent priced portable DVD player here I'm pretty sure of that.
-
We found a couple of the small 7" screen ones in Fethiye, but they were about 400 ytl, and for that size, you can pick them up here for about £50 now! Can get a 11" screen here for about £120 so will definitely buy one in the UK to bring across.
-
Julie, try Tesco for portable dvd players.very reasonable.
-
Thanks Amanda, will do.
-
I have read a lot re Erin Spot. This will be my first port of Call.Fortunately I have a reasonable amount to spend on furnishing.I hopr to do the furnishing to a high standard.Would this still be a good place?
Also does any one have his telephone or address or E mail ,so that i dont have the same experience as Jules.
-
Whether you have a lot of money or if you are on a tight budget there will be many essential and basic items you can get at Eren Spot, unless of course you want a gold plated ironing borad or a diamond crusted tea kettle. It is definately worth a vist
-
i wanted a ice maker the bosch shop wanted 400ytl went to beker at eren spot same make etc 250ytl what more could i say
-
We went to Erin Spot last week and bought a telly (a bit bigger than a portable) a dvd player a telly unit and a stool and it came to £175 which we were more than happy with.
Also went to a shop called Sancarlar at Keema for sofas and they had loads of choice in there for sofas and other furniture we were really pleased with what we got in there too, it is well worth a visit.
-
Keema? Is it an Indian shop :D
-
Ha do you know I kept thinking of keema nan bread whilst trying to remember the name of the place for the dolmus!
We found it really easy and got what we wanted the person that served us was brilliant think his name was Mustafa, I think he knocked off £10 when I mentioned the forum. Had a good old laugh with him though he said I had bad behaviour for trying to knock him down!(in price!)
-
Yes I know Mustafa, genuine guy and CBF fan :)
-
Just got back from Hisaronu, we decided on the Tuesday night that we wanted a flat screen tv for our apartment, got in touch with Izzet from the Gap bar and on thursday morning our tv arrived and was fitted on the wall all mess was cleaned up and empty boxes removed, i also asked for some patio chairs and the delivery man came with a choice for me to pick from as i had not been the shop, that is what i call service
-
This post is making me hungry,
Mustafa Keema. :D
-
We bought all our bedroom furniture from Erin Spot, including our white goods. I found electricals expensive (when I say that I mean I saw cheaper products in the uk) Its funny that BEKO products (Turkish produced ) can be cheaper in the UK. I took a play all DVD player from home (17 quid and plays Turkish copiy DVDs, Tesco ) and I took a LCD TV (19 inch) in my hand luggage. A fraction of the price. WE bought our glass three tier stand for TV, DVD etc from Erans, a good price for Turkey (£95) but same in Engalnd alot cheaper......just couldnt get it out in my hand luggage:D:D
-
I am sure i read on a thread that Bekir was selling the shop. Just to confirm he isnt, i popped in the other day for something and asked him and its def NOT true.
-
Sorry hadnt realised Pi55y had already addressed this xx
