Title: how much ??
Post by: tonysue on February 08, 2008, 00:56:08 AM
I see the exchange rate is 2.35 today, thats 2.35 NEW Turkish Lira. to us more seasoned visitors 2.35 million lira in old money. When I first visited Turkey it was 128,000 lira to the quid, a million Lira was about £8 and took some spending. How much was it when you first came?

Nor my memory, Puma. Think it was about 800,000 to the pound. Not that it mattered, because as you all know, us Scots don't mind spending our money ;)
