hi has any one tried 3 usb modem to use in turkey, i have just purchased one to take over in march, they say it enables me to get the internet any where without the use of a landline as it goes direct to sattelite. any feed back appreciated

But I only thought it was for a 3G network in the UK? I was looking myself.#

redding43 on the web site for 3 it lists countries for using the modem, and turkey is one of them but there is an extra fee payable to 3 for turkey

Update:....but not at these prices: £3 or £6 per MB and a dog slow speed as well

Hi,

I have a similar modem with Vodaphone. Bottom line is it works anywhere in the world where there is a 2G or 3G mobile phone signal - but unless you can get 3G it can be pretty slow.

The cost depends on your contract - but generally they are expensive to use outside the UK (just like a regular mobile).
