hi to you all.

Am a newbie here. My name is Tim. So hello to you all .... oooops already said that!

I am still in the UK but hoping to be in the land of the redeemed soon! Will be living in Dalyan (I hope). A bit quieter than Calis, I admit, but I like the place and have friends there.

I will, I hope, be moving permanently and be embarking on a new chapter in my life away from the oppressive socialists in the UK! I have been coming to Turkey since 1996 (quite a few trips) so have got to know it quite well. Even so I am still brought up short sometimes by how different the cultural influences are.

Anyway, I am semi-retired (i.e. do as little as possible for the best money I can get) and I am looking forward to losing a bit of weight (see avatar) with the rather healthier diet in Turkey.

I loom forward to bumping into you all when I com over to Calis!

Just north of Wimborne on the way to Cranborne in the darkest depths of the countryside.

Do you know the area?
