Might as well play safe and have them if you are going somewhere wild, like Catalarik ;)

we have never had any, but my daughter's friend was told (by her surgery nurse) that certain jabs were 'advisable'.......perhaps its a way of keeping the cash coming it, but best to check out for yourself.
Only thing we ever bring is anti mosi stuff - but thats another story !!!!

It was recommended to us that we had Hep A for Turkey, then a top up 12 months later. All done now for the next 25 years apparently! (We also heard that the docs make money out of each jab they give, and the male nurse who recommended the jabs knew my husband, so maybe made a couple of quid with us having them!!!) He also recommended tetnus jabs as ours were just about out of date (lots of quids made by now!!!).
I don't think these are absolutely necessary though. Julie

If you were to look at medical sites they say that Hep A, Polio,Typhoid and Malaria are all strongly recommended. But really you should have Hep A and make sure that your Tetnus is up to date. Ask the nurse or even the doctor at your local surgery for more info.

also forgot to say, any infants that travel should have had the BCG (Tuberculosis) vaccination.
