Is the renovation work finished, and the hotel open, any recent photo,s please, and do they look busy. Alan

It is not finished Al, a fair amount of activity on outside areas but the building itself is still wide open (reception frontage still a big gaping hole) - in fact it hasn't really moved on since you went back from what I can see.

I don't think any Russians bought it - but I have a feeling the new owners have Russians in mind for clientele.

they are at the moment painting it blue and i saw a large sign with chelski written on it though this was late in the night midweek and you will have to understand maybe just maybe i was dreaming
