Hi Ive never been to Turkey before but after some extensive research I wanted to find the perfect place to come on holiday and Calis beach looks like paradise. My boyfriend has listened to me going on about this place for ages now and I finally have convinced him so we have booked today. We are coming 29th September for 2 weeks and staying at the Mutlu Hotel. Cant wait to see those magnificent sunsets and experience what seems like a friendly and peaceful resort.
Cold here in Scotland today so Im counting the weeks til we come out.

Hi Lorna,
Welcome to the forum. You sound like a real convert already!!
I've not stayed at the Mutlu but I'm sure some members have.
Enjoy the forum.

Sorry i forgot to add, what will the weather be like? Im not good in roasting heat so thought temperatures would be more plesant in Sept/Oct. My partner not so convinced so I hope its going to be OK.

Hi and welcome to the forum, my 2 eldest sons didn't fancy it until they got there, and if it wasn't for me they would have enjoyed it even more, the eldest has still got a couple of weeks holiday left this year, so he wants to visit in October, September has always been quite really nice, not too hot and not cold, try not to fall in love with the place or you will never be away, and then you finish up buying your own place, i did anyway, then i moved over last May, it's a great place to be, and you never know your bad luck, you might meet some of us. Alan

I think you will both be happy with the weather at that time as it can get a wee bit hot for a few hours but cools down as the day goes on. By a wee bit hot I mean 30 degrees Enjoy Calis abd CBF

Just remember to bring something warm to wrap your shoulders in for the evenings. They may be a little chilly. I am sure you will have a lovely time.

Hi Lorna, welcome to the forum, i'm quite new on here too. I've stayed at the Mutlu twice and would have booked there again this year, but they had no single rooms for July. It'a lovely hotel, very relaxing, especially as there is a lovely sea breeze all day, breakfast is served with views of the sea, wonderful sight first thing in the morning! Just one thing, when I were there, there was a shortage of umbrellas/parasols round the pool, (you collect your own)be at the pool early to grab one! You'll love it! I'm staying at the Pelin, just further down.I have been in September, it's just the right temp if you don't like it too hot, nice to go to market etc
Have a FAB time, Jen

Thanks everyone for your replies.
CAn I just ask one thing: We have booked for 2 weeks from 29th Sept - but Im a bit concerned about the weather at that time of year cos it seems last Oct was very rainy.
Ive got the chance to change it to 25th Aug for 2 weeks but will it be too hot then? We have other commitments in mid Sept so it has to be at the beg or at the end.
What would you lovely people who know Turkey so well suggest - honestly! Im a fair skinned Scot who doesnt like roasting hot but does want a tan lol.
Thanks x

It's a difficult one, things are (just) starting to cool down around 25th August but still in the "hot" category, 29th September can be lovely, can be rainy, can be anything and everything.
I'd go for 25th August I think, but it will be hot.
