Hi - what a great site - have tried others but never seen the need to say hi!  This is different.

You guys seem quite a freindly bunch.

First of all my name is Viv and I live in Todmorden, Yorkshire (Hubbies request). We (my husband & daughter) spend a lot of time at our apartmet in Fethiye (Deliktas).  Can't wait for the time we can make the move permanently.

Having a great time reading all the posts - there is some great info on here.

Hope I can contribute to the discussions in the future.

Some people say Lancashire - so easier to clarify at the start that he is a white rose at heart - even if we have a Lancashire postcode.

Welcome to the forum Viv. How often do you visit the area?

This is a bit of a long shot but I used to know a Viv(ienne) who lived in Todmorden (It was definately Lancashire then) about 22 years ago. Not you is it?

Very strange to find an old friend as normally this is a way of making new ones!!!

Back to Steve's original question. Have spent a lot time in Turkey and travelled quite a lot as well. We have tended to go towards Hisaronu and Olu Deniz when we are there - but as our Favourite Italian restaurant (Bella Mammas)moved to Calis we have had to travel over there.

Calis has changed quite a lot since my first visit in 1997, and the changes seem to be good ones.

Looking forward to contributing - if I can
