Will be visiting Calis for the first time end of July with hubby and my two boys who are 11 and 8.  Having read through some of the forums am getting quite excited as it sounds fab.  No doubt you will hear from me again soon.

Thank you for the welcome!  We are staying at the Lagoon Vista apartment.  Recommended by a close friend of ours.  Can I be cheeky and ask a question straightaway?  We always hire a car when we go away - would I be better off arranging it in the UK or is it cheaper to do it there?  It does seem quite expensive from here.

We stayed at the Lagoon Vista apartments last year - absolutely fab!  So good, in fact, we put a deposit down on our own place on the last day of our hols!  You'll have a great time.  Can't give you any advice on hiring cars though - we always use the local dolmus service which is cheap and reliable.  Have a great holiday, Julie

Welcome to the forum and I'm sure you will have a great time when you visit. Our son is 8yrs and loves the place - can't wait until we return at the start of August!.

We find that the costs are about the same if you order before or when you arrive in resort - providing of course you use a good hire company

Try orangerentacar.com - they have never let us down

Hi Welcome to the forum.  I'm sure you'll love Calis as much as the rest of us.  Great for kids and adults alike.   Just be very aware of the heat of the sun in July...scorchio doesn't cover it !:D  (pack the knotted hankies....):D
