hi all can anyone tell me has the price of the famous beer gone up
since my last visit to Calis in April.  I used to pay anything from 2.50ylt to 3.50ytl. My brother and another couple have just come back and they recon that drinks are expensive in Turkey i.e efes 5 ytl. Was i just too drunk to remember what i paid or do they put it up in season.

hi alan welcome i think the price is still the same in calis but in marmaris i know it costs more

the draught is more gassy then the bottle but it does cool you down in the heat

5 lira less than two pounds pint in a pub here 3 pounds saving 1 pound a beer drink lots of beer save lots of pounds :D
sorry at todays exchange rate a little more than 2 pounds

That will do for me, only where do i get it from? And can i get soft drinks for the children at the same time and how much? Please help me otherwise i am not gonna be able to do the trips.:(

Just came back from side beaches are fantastic here but the efes is 6ytl in the bars i think there taking the p*ss our hotel was only 4ytl still side was a nice change from fethiye/hisaronu/olu this time. but will be coming back maybe next year

If you go to the top end of the beach Efes was 2ytl at the Seril Hotel and a couple more bars last week, ranges from 3 to 5 as you go further down towards the bridge.

Why do most of you moan about the price of efes, feel sorry for li'l old me, i have to pay near enough the same price for a glass of orange, and you aint heard me moaning, not yet anyway, aint had to buy one yet, lol. Alan
