Title: Do I need jags??

Someone at work has just told me I should have had injections before going to Turkey - is she right? It's a bit late now since we go on Wed!!

Don't want to worry anyone, but your insurance policy might require you to have had any relevant injections. Hope this doesn't arise and you have a wonderful time. :)

the 'official' line is yes you do  (thats the advice given out by travel clinics etc).   However we have never bothered and have never had any issues.  (Hope I haven't just tempted fate..:()

I would suggest you follow the "Guidance", your local GP will give you these free, if needed.
In the south eastern part of Turkey, there is a risk of malaria; this is not a problem in Calis region.

If you are prone to mosquito allergies, then yes an injection should be required. If you have an issue whilst here, don't worry. As all who live here will tell you, the chemists are brilliant. Never had an issue in all these years ourselves.

Looking at your posts per day Highlander you will be overtaking Crabbit quite soon I would imagine.You are faster than any jag  :)
