When we move to Turkey soon for a while we need a computer in the apartment, I am sorted with a telephone connection, am I better off buying a laptop here and taking it over. I would prefer a desktop any ideas on prices of a good desktop in Fethiye, I am not very up on techy stuff would I be able to bring an english keyboard to use with it and set it so it's in English.
Thanks
Mark

You are better off bringing a laptop with you, you can then set up a wireless connection and use it anywhere in your apartment, while sitting on the balcony/terrace or whilst lazing by the pool.

We brought our desktop and laptop with us last year. Problem - desktop processor was overheating due to the temps out here. Extra case fan and beefed up processor fan only reduced heat so far ( from 75 degrees down to 65 degrees c ) Solution - bought a second laptop for Fi and as such we can both access all around the house. Recommendation - forget desktop due to overheating problems and use laptops ( processor temps much lower)
