While i was taking photos of the pelicans this big fella popped up virtually at my feet 8)

Next to the Pelicans.:D Seriously about half way along the promenade between the market and the war memorial ....that is where the pelicans have taken up home.  At one stage there were four Carettas in that stretch of water.
