hi all does anyone know where we can buy a gennie for our house electric
we are sick of beening cut off and what size would we need

Most of the bigger electrical shops, and some motorcycle shops have generators for sale.

What size you need depends entirely on how much power you want from it. Of course, the more powerful they are, the more expensive they become. For a generator capable of running fridges, TV, cooker and lighting during a power cut, you've got to budget from 2,000 YTL upwards.

You'll also need to consider where you're going to house it, how you're going to fuel it and where you're going to store the spare fuel.

If u only want to run TV,Fan and some lights then you will find a UPS is a beter way to go.

kkob i will house it under the house in the basement,and use petrol i don't think i would store spare fuel as it maybe not safe when i am not there

Hi puma,if you put it in the basement,you must make sure its vented (clean air coming in) and that theres no chance the petrol fumes (exhaust)can enter other rooms...please excuse me if you already know that.
