Hi everybody,

My name is Jean. I have been coming to Turkey for the last 3 years, have been to Marmaris, Hisaronu and Side. This year will be the first time I have done a 'girlie' holiday without the husband. (will be with 2 work mates)

We will be staying in Calis, a friend from work has an apartment which we will be renting. I'm here to find some sensible advice really, we are abit worried about travelling on our own so going to have a mooch through the forums to see what is about and hopefully find some great things to do as well. Will be out there from next Friday, hope to see you soon!

Welcome Jean.The forum has lots of friendly and helpful members and a meeting in Calis on a wednesday night at the Bambu bar.You are sure to meet some of us there.Use the search facility at the top of the page for places to see and things to do.Have a lovely time.

Hi Jean (and personal cleanliness are very important), my wife and two of my daughters had a holiday to Turkey (Hisarano) on their own two years ago, and felt completely safe, I was also very happy for them to do so. We have always found the natives to be genuinely freindly and helpful - enjoy your girlie holiday.
