During our break to Scotland we revisited Kinnoull Hill (I posted photographs earlier in the year of this).
Just behind the tower at the top, slightly hidden away by trees, we discovered that someone had taken the base of a recently snapped and broken tree (trees do seem to snap up there, it must be very windy), and created this:

How nice for someone to give their time freely to do such a thing, for the pleasure of people they will never see :)
