Hello!

We have booked to stay at Hotel Mutlu, Calis Beach, for the first time - the week after next.  I was so pleased to find this forum and see such positive comments about this hotel/area as it's always worrying when you are visiting somewhere new!  The sunset views sound fantastic!

We would appreciate any recommendations on good eating places?  Three are meat/fish eaters and one boring veggie (me!), but meat/fish eaters are more important!

Also, any 'must see' places to visit, and do we need to take warmer clothes for evenings, ie fleeces?

Thanks

Deb  8)

Hi Deb,

It doesn't really cool down much at night, I think you can leave the fleeces at home!

Great choice of hotel, and you have come to the right place as a vegetarian - there is a wonderful choice  :)

Hi Deb,

If this is your first time to Turkey, I guarantee it will not be your last!!! Forget the winter woolies and bed socks - all you will need is suncream and a smile.  8)

Well worth a visit for your fish/meat eating family is the fish market in Fethiye - you chose your fresh fish and have it cooked in one of the restaurants. For you - the fruit and vegetables are fresh and plentiful, and the menu's are varied. Have a great holiday  :)

Thanks for the warm welcome and advice!  Bed socks un-packed!  4 days to go and counting!

Much appreciated.

I doubt this helps topic at all, but I took a sunset pic from behind the Mutlu tonight - these sunset pics are all well and good but from the prom is fairly dull after 4 years of receiving emails  ;)

Photo is fantastic Scunner - thanks, I've forwarded it to the rest of the family.  Trying to persuade Harry, my cat, that his cat hotel will look just as nice ....

Hi Steve, thanks for the welcome!

Just make sure you get a room on that side of the hotel Deb  ;)

Mind you, you'll probably be on the prom at sunset anyway  :)

They haven't specified Scunner but I will check, thanks.  Although, with the weather here at the moment I'm not sure that I really care as long as its hot and sunny!  Plus, from what I've seen the views from the bar/restaurant look fantastic anyway.
