Hi all

just like to introduce ourselves , elaine and brian Bramhill.  We are currently living in Poole/Bournemouth area of the uk but hoping to arrange things in the near future to be able to come and spend our time in Turkey.  We were over in June of this year and hope to get over again before the end of the year.  When we were over in June we looked at property and like uzumlu but were  very concerned about the cement factory and what it would actually mean if we bought there.  Predicably the agents side stepped any questions about it.

I hope you aren't going to be as much trouble as certain members from the Poole/Bournemouth area  ;)

Sorry to hear that agents side stepped your questions, there's reams of information on here about the cement factory issue.

hi brain and welcome give the agents you where with a miss, if they side step question i would not buy property off them, try scunner's estate agency or premier estates all up front with any questions and after care service

Hi Elaine and Brian, welcome to the forum. We bought in Uzumlu and we love it. You will find loads of very informative discussion on the cement factory issue. Not far from you in the UK either, We are in the New Forest.
