Post by: pelin on August 12, 2008, 08:53:39 AM: hi i would like info on unlocking a nokia phone. I have been told it will cost 80ytl to unlock it. I have registerd the phone with turkcell but need it unlocking. I was in touch with a guy last year who had a shop in fethiye but I have lost his details does anyone have a contact number or name. If you are in Turkey then it will be cheaper to buy a new phone than shell out 80ytl.

If it's an older model you can unlock it free.

Post by: philrose on August 17, 2008, 16:53:28 PM: 80YTL is far too much to unlock a phone, 20YTL would be nearer the mark. Most shops selling mobile phone accessories should be able to do this for you.

Post by: Harley on August 18, 2008, 06:56:43 AM: What mobile nokia do you have...? The cost of the unlock codes depends on this. I work in a mobile shop and we do all repairs and unlocks... We don't use cheap codes from the net as most of them don't work and some can actually harm your phone... Proper codes made specifically your handset can vary from £10 - £35...
