Title: Hello from sunny Essex!!
Post by: Hawk on August 19, 2008, 16:07:17 PM: Hi from Colin and Brenda. First visit to Turkey in May we stayed at friends apartment in Ovacik and really loved the area. So much so that we are returning 9th Sept ( Hotel Pelin) to look for property in Calis. As complete novices please expect to see questions on the forum. Any advice welcome

There's loads of information here to help you get started on your property hunt.
Use the search facility (top right of page) and make sure you buy from a reputable agent.

Post by: number2 on August 19, 2008, 17:38:45 PM: Hi Colin and Brenda, welcome to the forum, what are you a novice at, going on forums or buying a property in Calis, i think we were all novices at buying property here at first, once you've had your first shock, you pick it up quick, my shock was when i got back to England after paying my deposit, 3 weeks later they wanted the rest of it, it was all sorted, i was the owner of an apartment, in England it can take months, never had any probs then or since, as regards the forum, i don't even know how i found it to join, but when you have made your first post, you can't stop, it's addictive, enjoy both.
