Title: businesses closed next week

The guy at the Yapi Market told us today they will be closed next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the end of Ramadan celebrations, that suggests to me many other businesses will also be closed so be aware, however they will be open on Sunday this week.

The end of Ramazan will start on the 30th September, for 3 days. This will include all official offices as they have a 3 day holiday..... bring on the candy!!! :P

Banks and government offices close Monday lunchtime for three and a half days, civil servants will have the week off (typical:D). If you have any official/bank business to do, todays the day to do it. Good luck.

Schools also closing today for 1 week...good grief, my eldest has only been back at school for 3 weeks!!! Life is just one long holiday when you are at school!!

Thanks for the info. Knew it was Ramadan but weren't aware of the shop closures. Going out today so this timely posting much appreciated.

Do the bars and restauarants close as well?

No the bars and restaurants will remain open in the main, however there may be less staff as many will be going to visit family for Seker Bayram.
