I was reading a article on line about the uk and turkey and it states that there is no double taxation is this correct, as it would not affect your money in the banks ?.

Any tax you pay in Turkey will be taken into account when your UK tax is due. You will not pay the same tax twice but that does not mean you will not have further liability in the UK.

does that mean that turkey let the english taxman know or only if you let them know
