Has anyone any idea whats happening next to the EX cement factory site ?they seem to be clearing the forest ,hope its not for new quarry:(:(:([?]

Just as a matter of interest, did Urantas get stopped from building the cement factory on a particular site or in Uzumlu in general. Are they starting again on adjacent site? knowing that the population of Uzumlu don't have as deep a pocket as Urantas.

Probably clearing more land for a bigger quarry.[:(!]He has leased an enormous area for quarrying.
Interestingly the Attorney has said that the same law that was used for the stopping of the Lime Kiln & the cement factory could also be used to stop the quarry  ;)

Nothing to do with the EX cement factory.

A Cement factory cannot be built within 3kms of any olive groves so he'd have a hard job finding another site without that factor being used and also he would have to submit an CED (environment report)which would again stop it as in the Lime Kiln case.

The only hope he has is if the law changes.
