Hello everyone I have just registered as we have bought in Kalkan and this seems the best place to get advice. I have posted some questions on the home owners forum about where to buy furniture etc.

Welcome to the forum SB.  Our very first visit to Turkey just over two years ago was to Kalkan.  It was our 25th wedding anniversary, and our first proper holiday without the kids!  :D

Its an absolutely stunning place, but quite hilly.  Not a problem for us, but we wanted to come back the following year with the kids, and we thought they would moan!!   :o  Hence our second visit to Turkey was to Calis, where we put a deposit down on an apartment on that holiday!    :)

Have since been back to Kalkan, and I guess we will over and over again, as we loved it.   :)

Hope you get as much pleasure out of your home in the sun as we do.   ;)

I am Turkish and I think I can help you about your queries.
Kalkan is a small place but if you can not find anything from Kalkan I can always suggest you to come and have a look at the furnitures in Fethiye. Let me know what kind of furnitures you are looking for!
