Title: Residence Permit
Post by: birder on January 04, 2009, 08:46:11 AM: Because my visa and passport expire close together, I am worried that my passport renewal will not arrive in time. Is it possible to renew my residence permit for 6 months only?

If you renew your passport through the Honorary British Consulate in Fethiye, it takes 10 working days.

Does it cost anymore to renew passport at consulate compared to UK & what documentation do you need?

Post by: raynin62 on January 04, 2009, 11:31:40 AM: Hi Kevin, just renewed my 10 year passport at the consulate in Fethiye. Total cost 345ytl. Called in there first for the form, had 3 new photos done, and supplied my old passport. Jobe done and new passport collected in less than 10 days.
