Hi all, have just joined as we are looking to come out for a holiday in February with our 3 and 5 year old kids and would love to hear all about the area.

Hi Pippa, welcome to the forum, nothing is guaranteed as regards holidays, different people fall in love with different places, i found Calis about 10 years ago, i haven't been anywhere else since, and now i live here i still love it, don't know what it is about the place, but from the first visit i have felt so at home here, i've never brought young children with me so someone else will have to tell you that side of it, but for me it is the perfect chill out holiday spot. Welcome to the forum Pippa (lovely name, by the way!   :) )

Someone asked a few weeks ago about "things to do" in Calis for young children.  If you do a search on the facility at the top of the page, I'm sure you'll find it, though I think the children were slightly older than yours.   ;)

It can be quite pleasant during the day in February, but chilly at night.
