Hi,
I have been away from the forum for a few years after relocating to Bulgaria but now Im back online and looking forward to getting back into the swing of things all Turkish.
We have a place in Fethiye and that is really where our heart is, we love living here in BG but really do miss not being able to get to Turkey as often as we had hoped.
So Id like to say Hi to any old friends I may have known from before and hi to new friends too.

Welcome back Lyn.  My bro has a place in Bulgaria (not coast) and I would be interested in your views on how the two places compare never having been there before myself.

Thanks for all the welcome backs!
We are living about an hour inland from the coastal town of Varna. It is very similar to what I would say northern Turkey or the rural villages are like. Its different and in a strange way enjoyable. Its very back to basics and we thought it would be the 'good life' way of life that we would live like but afer the first years of slaving out in the hot sun watering the veg and all the weeds that came with it then chopping our wood in the snow in the winter the fun part seemed to just wear a bit thin. We are still enjoying the life and have made many friends along the way and it is an experience. I think now we have a good medium between living amoung the villagers but still have our own home comforts that we cant seem to live without. I do have internet at home now but it can be a bit hit and miss so will catch up with as many of you as it allows me to.
