Title: setting up a building company
Post by: helen on February 02, 2009, 13:06:23 PM: I have been here just under 2 years and would like to set up a buisness,but i am getting confilicting information.Does anybody know how I can do it,or is it best to get a turkish partner or is it just to expensive?.

Post by: Scunner on February 02, 2009, 13:33:41 PM: You need an accountant, they will do most of the required paperwork and the like. A Turkish partner has it's advantages, but you'll need one you can trust 110% as you will be vulnerable to dishonesty unless you both speak fluent Turkish. That is the main requirement.

Other than that, it won't be easy and it won't be particularly enjoyable in most cases. But I'm biased.

Keep your money in your bank (preferably a Turkish one for now)
