Can anyone give me info. on travelling from Fethiye to Icemeler in July for a few days please(return travel, pick up place, costs etc). :) :)

You can get a bus from the otogar in Fethyie to Marmaris then a dolmus onto Icemeler but am not sure of times etc

Fethiye Seyahat runs every half hour to Marmaris from 0630-1830 :)

or you can hire a car it is a nice drive about 1.5 to 2 hrs

Can anyone give me 'easy' directions how to get to the otogar in Fethiye, from where I get off the boat taxi from Calis?
I got lost last year on my own at night, not nice!!  :)
The main one where I would get the bus to Uzumlu please?

Get off the water taxi. Walk straight ahead, up the side of Carrefour, to the main road. Turn right. Walk about 50 metres. Get a taxi from the rank to the Otogar. Simple as that. :D

why not go from calis on the dolmus, up to Gunlukbashi then to Uzumlu from there

If you take the dolmus instead of the water taxi, get off by Tuesday market (near the million shop) cross the road & you'll see a petrol station, the dolmus station is behind the petrol station.

For the main otogar, take the dolmus via Gunlukbasi, when it raeches the main junction (with the illuminated globe) there's a Shell station ahead - main otogar is behind.

hi when you get to marmaris you can get dolmus to icmeler runs often cost 1.75 lire.the dolmus has icmeler written on the side think its green and white..

Interesting post,how did it jump from info to icemeler by bus and go to uzumlu by dolmus???????

If they dont run straight to Icmeler you can always get the coach to ortaca then to Icmeler

this ght sound daft, but I would have thought it would be a good idea if they had a boat from calis to marmaris, there must be a reason why they dont,Bee
