Title: opening an account

I've just had an e-mail off a friend saying they are getting 2 sets of photos each to open a bank account, as it's a few yeays since i opened mine, and don't remember taking any photos, is it normal have to take 2 sets, i only seem to remember taking my passport, and maybe tapu. Alan

We opened a bank account in January at Finans bank and only needed our passpost and driving licence for proof of address which is required now - even if UK address

Passport & photocopy at tax office & driving license & photocopy of passport at bank for us at end of last year, no photos required by either for us & proof of UK address was license no utility bills asked for but some banks do ask for them.

Hi all.
ING Bank one month ago. Only photocopy of passport and Tax number.

Passport and tax number at garanti.
We opened  gbp and ytl accounts and oh and I both had to sign 96 pages each !!

Just tax number and pass copy is enough for me  :)
