I would be cautious of good postings in a guestbook or on a website as they could be self generated.I would go for referals from people you know or members off this forum. This is my personel feeling.

Hi Bee, I had major dentistry done about 4 years ago now, while up in Bodrum. I had the whole lot capped and several bridges over a period of 2 months. To date I have had only one problem and needed some route canal work done, this was performed by Cagatay in Fethiye, who I too can highly recommend. I have been here many years and used several dentisits, all have been very hygenic and as painless as possible, I am a scaredy cat when it comes to dentists!

I suppose what I had done was cosmetic [:o] Essential too though ;)
Cagatay was superb, you just act like a big wimp the first time you visit and the extra big injection and longer wait before commencing work are automatic from then on. I had much differing works, in particular I was pleased with the veneer work to my front teeth. I would expect them to be like my front teeth, that is why they take impressions; but the setting of them was incredibly accurate too. From top to bottom they are not parallel/straight to each other by about a quarter of a millimetre - you couldn't possibly see that by sight, I can't even see it and I know it's the case - but with use of the tongue, the setting is identical to the original.
I can't comment on other dentists in Fethiye as I've only been to Cagatay, but I can guarantee I won't be trying anyone else.

Been to Cagatay this morning to repair the work done in the Uk ,as Keith says you can only speak as you find ,i have always found him great he even has time to explain what work he is doing for you !a thing of the past in the Uk. Regards Calvin

Anyone got a rough idea of how much it would be to have a crown fitted? My husband has just been quoted almost £500 over here from our dentist, which includes a check up, all the necessary crown work, and a brush and polish at the end. Sounds a lot to me! :-\
-
Definitely the same there, 500, but in lira :D
Actually I can't remember exactly, maybe even less. I got a sort of lump sum price for my pearlies :) 375 lira rings a bell. Perhaps.
-
Crowns are normally circa £120 - £150 each in Turkey.
-
Hi anyone got a contact for catagay, thanx Bee
-
Hi Bee
You can contact Cagatay via CBF, if you search for dentiscagatay in members, and email him that way.
Good luck :)
