They speak good English and all information booklets and documents are in English, they are an agent for Commercial Union.
For one month travel insurance Europe and America, approx 50 ytl depending on interest rates. :)

Tinks do you know what the age limit is to get the insurance.

I'll find out for you tomorrow Joan

tinkerman, I think that what you have been quoted for is the basic travel ins. that Turks have to take out, before they are given a visa to leave the country. It covers medical costs, and repatriation, up to 30,000Eur. I have taken the Turkish policy before, and the cover is not comparable to one that you would buy in the U.K., if you are a U.K. resident.

Aviva is the new name for Norwich Union. :D

Don't forget that if you do not have a residence permit it will not pay out. Check the general conditions and get it in writing, as the clause states that you must have a residence permit to qualify as a resident of Turkey or when you come to make a claim they refuse payment.
If you live in Turkey on a tourist visa you can get travel insurance from
www.worldnomads.com

I have a residency permit Fi and all the paperwork and brochures are in English so no problems checking conditions.
Nomads are quoting me $75 each.
