Its been a bit of a pooey year for the Pookie household and we are seriously looking forward to our five weeks of Turkish sunshine. We'll have a few days out here and there, but this year we plan to chill out a lot more - by the pool or beach....so its time to stock up on those all important books !!! Mr Pookie is armed with a couple of the usual Wilbur Smith type 'crap', (said in jest darling....[:X] ;)), but please can someone recommend some goodies for me ? I'm a bit of a book-worm, so will need quite a lot to keep me going for five weeks ! I don't like war or SciFi or mindless chiclit - quite like Grisham or Dan Brown that sort of thing, or chiclit for girlies with a bit of brain (although there are days that I have to question that !). i also like travel books ie: driving over lemons etc. Any suggestions ?
