Hi I'm Nichola and have lived in Turkey for 6 years; was invited by friends to join the forum so I have.
I added a photo to my profile; I hope it has worked.
Looking forward to the Calis Carnival Craft Fair on Sunday 17th May and hope I'll see some of you there; please say hi if you recognise me!!!

Hi and thanks to the very warm welcome from you all. I will try to find a red carnation to wear to the Craft Fair... hoping the weather holds not like the winter car boots that guaranteed rain without fail.
PS I live in Ovacik

Well its been 9 months since I joined the Forum and now I can't imagine life without it! I open the forum religiously every day checking active topics regularly for the latest news, views and gossip.
I feel like I have got to know some of you quite well (for better and worse) and hope this summer I'll meet many of you for real now I will be based in Fethiye.
I enjoy the banter, the sarcasm, the jokes, the quick wit, the ups and downs but mostly the sense of family and community. We don't always agree with each other but are all there supporting and helping each other through the good times and bad.
Anyway, long may it continue and thanks to all that work around the clock to make the Forum possible for us all to enjoy.
