Hi, my name's Janet.  Just to say 'hello'. We are having a house built in Uzumlu which should be ready by the summer. We're all looking forward to coming over for holidays. I'd appreciate any information on where's best to go for furniture, etc.

don't know much about the furniture bit ,but i'm sure you will get lots of info ,
but the white goods side go to eren spot he will  sort you out ,great man

Hello Janet welcome to the forum you must be so excited with your place in the sun. You picked a fabulous location. You will find all the information you need here, and more. If you look in the search section top right hand corner. click on search. Type in furniture stores and I am sure the information will be there; alternatively those members who have the info will soon share it with you. This is a very helpful forum with very knowledgeable members. So your in good company here.

Hi and a warm welcome to the Forum :) Loads of places in Fethiye for Furniture from 2nd Hand -cheap and Cheerful and on up the scale

Welcome to cbf and to Uzumlu !  We are also in Uzumlu so hope to bump into you during the summer.  Good luck with the furnishing, this is the best bit !  explore and you will find some wonderful deals and ideas.   We had most of our stuff made locally - all excellent quality and a third of what we would have had to pay in the UK.  (ie: iron beds, granite tables etc.)   Have fun !

Hi All, thanks for the welcome and the info on furniture.  I'll try the search feature - I'm sure we'll have lots of fun looking for furniture. Uzumlu is a lovely place.  Looking forward to being there this summer.

You'll love it, I'm sure.  It is very peaceful and people are so friendly.  It's looking beautiful here at present, with all the wildflowers in bloom.  The poppies are stunning.  Anyway, I hope to see you around.  I'll be the harrassed person chasing an escapee black dog officially called Sally.  Though I have some other names for her.....
