I would like to walk part of the Lycean way from Faralya to Ovacik/Hisaronu but need to get a minibus out there in order to walk back.
Does anyone know anything about the minibus service to Faralya ie Timetable, where from etc. [?]

There are only 3 or 4 dolmuses a day on that route although during the term the school buses will also pick-up hitchhikers. I can't remember the exact times but they leave Fethiye around 07.30, 12.00, & 17.00 and they go through Hisaronu about 30 - 40 minutes after that.
You need to look out for dolmuses with Faralya and / or Kabak signs in the front window.
You'll probably be more successful if you walk the LW from Ovacik to Faralya and then "thumb it" along the coast road into Oludeniz as there are several paraglider transporters returning empty along that route.

we did that walk a while ago and it was beautiful.!

Here's some further information on the dolmuses.
Apparently, they leave Kabak for Fethiye everyday at the following times
08:30 10:30 12:30 14:30 17:30 19:30.

Thats great, thanks for you help. I have since found out that they leave the Fethiye terminal every 2 hours from 7.00 am onwards so now all I have to do is get on my walking boots.

oh how lovely. We've wanted to do this, but never got around to it. The scenery is stunning - mikrik, perhaps you can post some photos for us once you have found your walking boots !

The Lycian Way from the Montana Pine Resort towards Faralya gives the best views of the Lagoon at Oludeniz that you can get without having to paraglide.

Sorry Pookie,
Posting photos is way beyond my computing abilities I can only just manage to get things on here.
I'm hoping to do the walk with a friend from the Uzumlu winehouse walkers next week. After that if it's suitable they might organize a walk up there. I'm sure you would be welcome to come along.

A small group of us did the walk from Faralya to Ovacik yesterday, great walk and some spectacular views but not recommended for people with walking problems. Anyone thinking of doing it please note that a pair of good walking boots and plenty of protection from the sun are essential.
Thanks to all those who answered my posting with help and advice.
