Title: Villa Painting
Post by: robarnet on May 28, 2009, 07:17:29 AM
We would like to get the exterior of our Villa in Ovacik painted. Can anyone recommend a good painter who charges resonable rates.  Have recently been quoted £600 plus the cost of paint.  Sounds expensive to us !

I have sent you an email with the mobile of a chap who has done painting for us and he was 1st class. He does not speak any english. If you want he will also quote you a price which includes the paint. Saves you having to get it

To be honest,it depends on the size of the villa, one or two coated, what paint is used, how much cutting in etc, etc.i'd get a few prices if i were you,and recommendation is your best bet.

If you walk out of the front door of Eren spot, turn right and follow the pavement right up round without crossing over you will end up opposite a filling station un front of the Dolmus station.
At that point you will be walking past a row of small shops. One of them is I think the locksmith you are looking for.

Sorry intended to say that you should remember that most of the locals here work for Ytl 50-70 per day plus food. That should give you an idea of how much you should be charged for labour.

We are in the process of having all the houses on on our complex painted by Park Property Services.  They are doing a really good job and the price is very competetive.

Tim, this is Turkey.  You don't pay for lunch, you provide meals for him.  He'll eat whatever you give him, and drink water.  You may also have to collect him from his home and take him back at the end of the day.

phewwww, lucky i don't have to wipe his back side as well! But I see, now i have a better idea...thanks for you info.

I have an empty flat in Fethiye (symbola - Green Valley) and i will be needing fitted wardrobes, curtains putting up, and other bits and pieces done and i was wondering how much all going to cost me!

Anyway, I do love kebabs and will provide it, so i don't think this will be a problem.
