I have just tried to check our latest electric bill online on the Tedas website.I used to click on 'Il Kodu' and select Mugla, but Mugla no longer appears on the drop down? :) Any suggestions
-
Yes, Mugla Province has now been taken over by Aydem Elektrik and they haven't yet got a similar website.
-
Your balance will still show
just leave that bit blank. the first 2 figures of your number, 48 indicates Mugla
Although as KKOB has stated a new company has taken over so this may not work for much longer
-
thank you - I was wondering !!
-
Just tried it.Thanks:D
-
On that subject.
Apparently Aydem Elektrik don't work on the 3 tarif electricity provision that Tedas offer.
(ie cheaper between 10pm and 7am - most expensive between 7pm and 10pm).
It is a standard cost across the board.
Does anybody know if this is correct?
-
I can answer my own question!!
I have just received my electricity bill and it does have a section of 3 tarifs - 6am to 5pm, 5pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am however, written underneath each tarif the price is identical - 0.162684tl per kwh.
So I just called Aydem Elektrik and they said if you want to benefit from the different price tarifs then the owner of the property needs to apply directly to Aydem Elektrik and fill out the forms otherwise you will just pay the standard 0.16.....tl (which in my opinion seems like a pretty good price anyway!!)
KKOB- you know if these forms can be picked up at Tedas because the nearest Aydem office I can find is in Mugla??
-
Pixie has your online account been updated now you have a bill from Aydem or has as I suspect it just remained same?
-
Hi saoirse
I am afraid I am still living in the eighties and never had an online account so have a paper bill in front of me :-\
-
lol Pixie
Whereabouts are you in Turkey?
-
In Akarca (between Calis and Fethiye) but in just under 2 weeks we are moving to Calis which I am really excited about.
-
You lucky thing
We were meant to move out next year to our wee house (Uzumlu) but house price crash here in Belfast has put paid to that!
-
Poor you, but everything is meant to be and it will all work out for the best and when you do eventually get here it will be worth it

I can see from this topic that the new electric company Aydem Elektik has taken over fom Tedas.
I have a automatic payment set up with Garanti which have been working up to now. I got my new bill on the 18th June but up till now no payment has been taken out of my account,do I have to resubmit my electric details to the bank now that the company has changed?
Thanks Don
-
Don, Aydem are simply a franchise of Tedas, so no need to change anything.
-
Don, my bank is garanti and they still pay my aydem elec bills although dd was set up in Tedas.
-
Thanks to you both for your answers I'll keep a look out to see if the bill is paid from my account. Just a bit worried in case they cut me off for not paying the bill
-
Sorry to sound dumb but I was unaware you could see your bill on line. I pay by direct debit with Finansbank but never get to see a bill! [Where do they leave them?]
Do you have the web site link to see if I could actually have sight of this elusive bit of paper! which would be a help seeing I pay it with no way of checking if it is right.
We are in Ovacik and I know we have three tariffs.
-
Don,I have noticed garanti bank never pays in the allotted time slot, it is just after. So if your bill was dated 18th june, allotted time slot is always 2 weeks later about 1st -14th july, expect it to be paid anytime soon.
-
Garanti always pay mine on the last day of the time slot 8). Good for them :D:D.
-
Andrew if it's any help, although we do not use Bizzi Bee's for pool and garden maitenance, they still had hold of ALL of our paper electricity bills, so you might like to ask Aysun about yours..
-
Many thanks I know aysun and will ask her
-

Thanks for your help, we just assumed we were still on the 3 tarrif system but we are not, I can now calculate the difference to see if it is worth changing over.

There's been a rumour circulating that Aydem were going to drop the 3 tariff system but there doesn't seem to be any foundation to it.
-
To open up a new bank account these days you need to present 2 utility bills as "security". My Aydem bill has always been in the name of the builder, so I went along to the Aydem office to get it changed. No problem, after filling out a form and just 5 minutes work by the clerk, she presented me with a scrap of paper showing 66TL!! This is, as I now understand, the charge for changing the name on the bill to mine - an extortionate cost and one I would have NOT agreed to had she told me BEFORE I filled out the form etc.
Has anyone else had this experience? Is there any way of complaining and getting my money back (I did not pay cash at the time, but as my bills are paid via DD by my bank I'm stumped).
-
Further to my earlier message, I also hear that if I want to change the name on my Council/Building Tax bill it will cost me 98TL!!
These are the only utility bills I get, so how the hell do I ever open up another bank account??
Does anyone know the email address for Aydem - can't find one anywhere, and I don't want to spend another 66TL on telephone bills to complain!
-
bilgi@aydem.com
You'll have to make sure that you write your complaint in Turkish and don't expect a reply.
-
I have mislaid the web address for electric bills online (also the water) does anyone have the info to hand?
thanks

-
Thanks but that is for Tedas I need the one for Aydem, The Tedas one does not have the province of Mugla, unless someone knows otherwise
-
Ioz This help?
http://www.aydem.com/bpi.asp?caid=534&cid=652
-
I have now got into the Aydem went to http://www.aydem.com/tesisatbul.asp
input the info to obtain numbers, then I went to http://www.aydem.com/member/member_new_standart.asp
input the the top number for email account but then ask for sayac (counter number not sure what this is)
the Aydem site is not as easy to use as the old Tedas, is there no Tedas in mugla anymore then?
still not able to check the bill (although nothing should be outstanding, but you never know!)
-
Aydem took over Tedas in my area
-
So, back to my original question: has anyone else had to pay the 66TL for just changing the name on the Aydem bill, or was I just ripped off?
-
We had to pay to change the name on our electricity bill and water bill but don't know how much as the solicitor included it in her bill but I didn't think it was cheap!
-
It used to be 90 or 95 TL to change the name on a Tedas account. If Aydem are only charging 60 TL that's about the only thing that's gone down in price since they took over.
