hi everyone could anyone shed some light on the following question
if you would like to get married in turkey how long do you need to reside in the country before wedding?:D
-
3 or 4 days I think you have to go to Antalya and do all the legal bits.
-
I dont think that there is a time difference as long as you have the paperwork sorted which is a nice little trek to Antalya, we got married 3 days after arriving, good luck!
-
If it is 2 English people marrying then the paperwork just needs to be completed in Antalya, no minimum residency.
-
hi john just tied the knot 1st june, you will need a cert of non impediment from your local registrar.
if you do not have this you will have to be in the country for 21 days plus about 3 days for legal stuff before the wedding.you will need about 3 days for all paperwork,1 day for antalya.ps make an appointment dont just show up
hope this helps
