We have to do another big THANK YOU now for Lisa Pete and Lou, Piscoe on the forum, who gave us another good cash donation :) towards the doggie and cats home and offerd various other services to help us on our way.

Hi Tinx, Love to have some information about the santuary please.  Does it have a website?  if not, where is it who runs it, is it just run it on donations?

This will give a good idea of the running of the dogs and cats home, unfortunately the website fell into disrepair a year or two ago and we are looking around for some help to start a new one,any voluteers?.

As far as donations go, stuff for the car boot sale is always wanted also donations of cat and dog food,toys etc. are always helpful, we are also looking for donations of sutures if anyone has any contacts in the medical profession, and cash donations are put into the kitty so we can buy food and items as they need it, no money is given to the centre.

Anyone who wants to go and see the work that is being done up there will be most welcome to visit, from Calis go up to Gulukbasi and take the Uzumlu road from the traffic lights carry on til the roundabout again taking the Uzumlu road (2nd exit and just follow the road about half a mile until you see the entrance, which is now signposted, on the left hand side opposite the dolmus station and woodyard.

if you want to make a donation whist up there, make sure you put the money into the secured cash box ;)

Also Cafe Inn next to Park Hotel and near to Calis sunday market has an animal donation box  8)

Thanks for the info Tinx will leave a donation in August.  
Hopefully when the old fella retires and we come out to live I would love to volunteer.

This type of thing has/is been very successful done by all the people out at Kemer village, they do a lot of work with the vets in Fethiye. Please email if you want contacts. 8)
