How far is it to walk to Gunlukbasi from the beach? Is it all uphill?  What will we find when we gewt there?

will probably spend all day on the beach, but u never know, we might fancy some exercise.

Only another 2 and a half sleeps  8)

Its about 2km at a rough guess,also depends on were you are in Gunlukbasi.Its quite a nice walk or you could get the dolmus

From my place, up by the Police Station, in Gunlukbasi it take me 25mins to walk down to the ferry bridge. A completely level walk.

Local shops mainly and a road. That's about it from what I remember. I suppose it's a bit more 'Turkish' than the sea front.

There are also a couple of restaurants and a pastanasi where  you can have coffee and cakes.

kizzie it's worth the walk for the two fabulous lokantas up on the main road.  Both serve great food and are more than half the price of the restaurants on the front.

Agree with Anne, and the shops are alot cheaper there too,
