hi all,
I am wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of things. I am wondering if it is possible to get married at the place that I got engaged recently...i keep forgetting the name of the island though! Or whether you can get married at sat? I would love to do it but unsure as to whether you can hire these places for the day etc. If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks, Vicki

Hi Vicki, my son is getting married at the Sat next year, they have just completed all the plans, they got a wedding planner and they do absolutely everything, transport, food, drinks, decoration, the lot, and much cheaper than the UK. good luck.

My daughter got married at Ece Saray 2 years ago and we used a wedding planner. As Laffa says they did everything from arranging appointments at consulate, medical, flowers etc. It was so easy and no stress involved!! Good luck.

several people have mentioned wedding planners, are they expensive to use?? we're thinking about getting married out there maybe next year, if not, early 2011. Where would i be likely to find one??
-
When our son got married we looked at several options including wedding planeers, they all came out expensive. Mete the owner of the Golden Moon arranged everything for us including providing a driver to Antalya who knew where to go for the paperwork, he took us to florists, arranged a band helped us choose a menu etc, we had about 80 friends and family there and had a fantastic day.
-
From what my son and his girl have said the wedding planners are very reasonable, the couple chose the Sat and the planners do everything else.
-
We got married in June at the Golden Moon Hotel - like Mark has said, Mete organised absolutely everything!! We were suppose to be getting married on the Thursday but showers were predicted so Mete re-organised everything for the Saturday!! Had a fabulous day - if you want any info please feel free to email me. All we did was show up - everything else was done, from the hairdresser to photographer, absolutely everything!
No additional costs for wedding planners either. We are still in shock at how reasonable it all was.
Also for a special wedding night look at the rooftop suite at the Delta hotel. We had it for 2 nights and us girls actually got ready there, hairdresser came there and Mete took us round to the hotel. Us girls had a great time, in the hot tub, wine and snacks and just generally relaxing. We got married at 7 and then to the beach for sunset photos.

Thank you all for all of your advice and help. Could anyone email me the details of a photgrapher they used and any other services just so i can get an idea of cost. I will visit sat and ask them about their wedding planner as well.
Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated!
