I now have a good idea of what prices to pay in the market for what I buy, but my 15 year old niece is coming out tomorrow and will no doubt be buying bench " and g star jeans or similar. What sort of prices do these sell for ? It is her fist visit.
Thanks

My son and his girl friend bought "designer" jeans in the market at Fethiye, also had them altered in 20 minutes!! Paid, as far as I can remember 45 TL a pair including the alterations.

Do what the Turkish market traders do, sew a designer label on them and sell to an English mug at an inflated price :D

Checked with my son, his were about £10.00 his girlfriend walked him around every stall and could only find the make and the style she wanted on one stall, and the guy was take it or leave it, however, she did bargain him down to 45TL as he wanted 60TL.

Will get the make and design from her and give you £5.00 to buy her next pair Crab. Remember she will also need them altered in 20 minutes.
Incidentally she is pleased as punch with them, the originals are on sale in the designer shops for £140 per pair.
