"Always take two spaces, the other b***ers parked next to you do not care"
This advice came from the boss at the Auto Repair depot after some idot sliced a
lump out of the side of my car. After claiming on my
insurance and having to pay out the first £250.00, as
the person in the supermarket car park did not stay around to report
the damage. I was informed that 80% of one side only
damage to cars brought into this repair shop where
from cars parked in car parks and particularly Supermarkets car parks.

H, you should have taken the photo half an hour before when two whopping great 4x4s were parked either side overlapping the bays and giving only a narrow parking spot in between. Good bit of reversing to get the car in the tiny gap. Of course, after they have driven off things look very different.
