Has the world gone completely mad ? Can't believe the news this morning that they are going to release the guy on compassionate grounds (he has cancer). Apparently he has served two weeks for each of his victims (270 ?). I'll peel his bloody grapes for him if he likes....[:(!][:(!]

Gone is the idea that scum will rot in jail.
It seems to be quite common for them to be released if they have less than three months to live.
-
Pookie. It's not the world, sadly. It's just the clowns that run this country, and administer "justice".
They've lost the plot,and we've let them!!!

I think the sentence should reflect the crime. Now, did his victim's families have the opportunity to be with their loved ones when THEY died?
-
I hope they fly him home in a Hercules and just circle over Lockerbie a few times with the tailgate down, Ooops!
-
Sounds more like a political decision than a compassionate one :(

Or drop him from 35,000 feet in the air strapped in to an airline seat without warning, left to die slowly after impact.
this is an insult to the families,
we forget too quickly:-\

Breaking news. The US have just said they were not informed of U K plans to release him and are demanding that "he serve out his full sentence".
Watch this space.

and Ronnie Biggs has had it easy,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there's a big difference there.
-
Tomorrow it will be three months since Megrahi was release.
Wonder how he is feeling ?
-
A lot better than his victims,sadly H.:-\:-\

smug

Isn't it strange how these criminals are at deaths door when they are in prison, but as soon as they are released they make a miraculous recovery. I may be cynical but the evidence speaks volumes.:-\
-
Yes, see Ronnie Biggs now wants to go to an Arsenal match and just a few months ago he was given days to live.
-
i thought he had died

This brings back memories of a certain 'Gentleman', supposedly dying from the incurable Alzheimers Disease, (MY ARSE) who ripped off millions of shareholders a few years back, read on,
Gordy.
