Title: odd shaped luggage ?

i am flying with kthy from manchester and want to take 3 pieces of spiral handrail about 1.3meters each long , so they wont fit in my case . will i be able to wrap them up well in bubble wrap and still check them in with my luggage , as long as im not over my weight allowance ? or will they not let me take them? ive been on kthy site and you can take golf clubs or scuba stuff . thanks

You should be ok as they will put then in the oversize luggage section. I have bought a rotary clothes line out before now and it was accepted with no problems.

Patch, speaking from experience you should not have a problem, so far we have managed to bring :-
Cast alloy Patio table and 4 chairs compleate with parasol
King size memory foam matteress topper
Hostess/drinks trolley
Double garden seat with table
Large outside storage bunker
Garden shed
plus lots more I cannot remember.
We have never paid any extra so I think you should be ok.

I normally take something odd shaped with me, but she wouldn't thank me for saying so. ;)
