Title: Dee Dee Wilde
Post by: antonia1966 on August 19, 2009, 19:00:39 PM: I've heard Dee Dee is still about but now singing in fethiye. Does anybody know where? Our 4 year old loves her and would like to see her again. Thanks :)

Actually, Flick Colby and Dee Dee Wilde were both founder members. Together with Louise Clarke, Barbara "Babs" Lord, Ruth Pearson and Andrea "Andi" Rutherford.

Yes I'm aware of who was in the line up thankyou, I used to sit glued to the screen on a Thursday evening plus I could have googled the info like you if I hadnt have done!

Joe,( i'm assuming Sue didnt post the above!),I remember leering over them in my early youth on Kenny Everett's show but it was back in 1978 and they might be a bit frayed round the edges nowadays!

Also saw her at the music quiz at the Irish bar in Fethiye, and at Cafe Deniz on the Sunday afternoon open mic day (Karagozler).

Dee Dee and James will be staying in Turkey until the end of October, when they set sail for Egypt and India. :)
